After Very Much Criticism, PMO tells MIB to withdraw press release on fake news

Trilok Singh: Fake newsare not a new concern for India or the world, Since many time we are dealing with the several threats of fake News, Information, Contents and much more.. Significantly, we really need to do more technical path or way to get rid about the same.. Recently, The “Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has directed that, “The press release regarding #fakenews be withdrawn and the matter should only be addressed in Press Council of India.” Further, “PIB Accreditation Guidelines asking Press Council of India & News Broadcasters Association to define & act against ‘fake news’ have generated debate.
