In 2002 he got convicted of rapping 2 of his female followers who got justice today after 15 long years. 9 Women’s name were there in the CBI chargesheet. Out of which 2 women supporter came out and brought justice after 15 long years.
More than 100,000 people had gathered near the court premises ahead of the verdict in Panchkula, Haryana. Following the conviction, at least 25 people were killed and another 250 were injured in violent protests in parts of India with reports of widespread vandalism.
HR CM ignored notice, adequate forces were not deployed. 192 private vehicles escorted Ram Rahim and were allowed to pass from Sirsa to Panchkula ,that to when as per court orders 4 people were allowed in court room.

2002: Accused of sexual exploitation of sadhvis (women followers). Also accused of ordering the killing of Haryana-based journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati for his writings against the Dera. Both cases are under trial. In 2002, a sadhvi had written an anonymous letter addressed to the then PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, accusing the Dera chief of sexual abuse. On this, controversial godman had told Panchkula court that he is not mentally and physically fit to have sexual intercourse. “Dera chief told the court that he was not fit to indulge in physical relationships,” S.K. Garg Narwana, counsel for Rahim, told media persons.
2007: Accused of willfully hurting religious sentiments by trying to imitate what many Sikhs believed was a likeness to their 10th guru, Guru Gobind Singh. Acquitted in August 2014.
2010: CBI initiates probe into allegations that Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and three Dera functionaries were responsible for the murder of Singh’s driver Faqir Chand who disappeared in 1991. The CBI filed a closure report acquitting the Dera chief in December 2010.
2014: The Punjab & Haryana High Court directs CBI to probe allegations that the Dera chief ordered the forcible castration of 400 followers. CBI registers an FIR, investigation is pending.
August 2015: CBI records statements of Dera victims. Six months after the CBI began its probe into the alleged castration of up to 400 followers of the religious sect Dera Sacha Sauda, it has identified 10 such victims while intensifying its search for more. CBI has recorded the statements of the 10 alleged victims, which are being scrutinised for further case-related leads and evidence..
January 2016: Dera chief in fresh trouble for ‘imitating’ Lord Vishnu. Rahul, a VHP activist, submitted a complaint with the Moga police against the Dera chief for hurting the religious sentiments of the Hindu community by trying to imitate Lord Vishnu. AND ON 25TH, AUGUST 2017 TOO.

Imagine, if this situation would have been created by any other faith religion’s followers and in any opposition ruled state during Congress ruled centre what bjp’s reaction would have been, it might have castigated the central govt and demanded the PM’s resignation till now.
This is the double standard and duplicity of bjp, it says one thing for one section of society, does another thing to please another section (vote bank) of society and lands in missing up governance. It has the history of messing up issues and problems because it has no grasp of reality and does not have the depth to understand India’s problems…
